Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to the Tees Me FAQ Page

We know the world of screen prints, rhinestones, and spangles can be a lot — so we’ve made this space your one-stop shop for answers.

Here, you’ll find everything you need to know about our products, shipping, turnaround times, and the difference between rhinestones, spangles, and screen prints. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or just getting started, this page will help you order with confidence.

Rhinestones, Spangles & Transfers

Q: What’s the difference between “Crystal,” “Crystal AB,” and “Colored” rhinestones?
A: Each listing includes a color catalog showing all available rhinestone options.
• Choose Crystal if you want clear stones.
• Choose Crystal AB for a rainbow-iridescent finish.
• Choose Colored Stone for any other color in the chart.
Note: Colored stones cost more than crystals — so be sure to pick the correct option when ordering.

Q: What’s the difference between a spangle and a rhinestone?
A: Rhinestones are premium, multi-faceted glass stones with brilliant shine and raised texture. Spangles are flat, shiny discs (no hole in the center) with a holographic shimmer — think sequin-style sparkle!

Q: What colors are shown in your mockups?
A: All bling mockups are digitally created for visualization. Because of that, colors appear more saturated on screen. The final pressed result depends on your chosen colors and apparel.

Q: Do you have color samples?
A: Yes! We offer color sample books for both spangles and rhinestones — the best way to ensure you pick the perfect hues. If you can’t grab one, check real-life photos in our Facebook VIP Group.

Q: Minimum purchase requirements?
A: • No minimum for ready-to-ship designs.
• Custom rhinestones: minimum 4 transfers.
• Custom spangles: minimum 10 transfers.

Q: How much are custom transfers?
A: Prices vary by design — check the product listing for details.

Q: What happens if I pick the wrong color?
A: Re-orders for incorrect color choices are the customer’s responsibility. That’s why we recommend sample books!

Orders & Shipping

Q: When will my order ship?
A: Ready-to-ship transfers go out the same day when ordered by 3 PM PST.
Spangle + rhinestone transfers are made to order and typically ship within 3–5 business days.
(Please check our site banner for current turnaround updates.)

Q: Which shipping carriers do you use?
A: We ship via UPS or USPS — you’ll choose at checkout.

Q: Will you restock sold-out screen print transfers?
A: Nope! Each design is a limited drop — grab it while it’s hot.

Q: How often do new designs release?
A: Every Tuesday during our Tees Me Tuesday Sale! Fresh designs + major savings every week.

Q: Do you offer bulk discounts?
A: You bet!
• Up to 75% off new screen prints every Tuesday.
• Final-Tuesday destash sales on all in-stock transfers.
• Rhinestone transfers: bulk discounts when ordering 6 + of the same design.

Q: Can you combine multiple orders to save shipping?
A: Unfortunately, no. Our production process runs through multiple departments, and combining orders would slow everything down and risk errors. Thanks for understanding — this helps us keep orders fast and accurate for everyone.

Q: What are your business hours?
A: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM PST. Closed on holidays.

Product Care & Pressing

Q: Washing instructions?
A: Wash inside out in cold water, skip the softener, and hang dry for best results.

Q: Do I need a commercial heat press?
A: Yes — you’ll need a press that allows full temperature + pressure control.

Q: Can I use a Cricut Easy Press?
A: Nope! A Cricut Easy Press = an overpriced home iron. You won’t get consistent pressure for a lasting transfer.

Q: Difference between Plastisol Ink Screen Prints and DTF Transfers?

Plastisol Ink Screen Print Transfers
• Traditional layered ink on release paper.
• Feels soft + smooth like standard screen print.
• Matte to semi-gloss finish.
• Requires high heat (325°–350°F).
• Best for bulk orders and spot-color designs.

DTF (Direct to Film) Transfers
• Digitally printed full-color film transfers.
• Slightly more texture on the surface.
• Vibrant detail + photorealistic color.
• Lower heat (285°–315°F) = faster press.
• Best for small runs or multi-color artwork.
